DESCRIPTION OF A PLACE

A PERFECT PLACE:

The sky is totally blue. I am lying on the sand, while the sun shines bright. Waves are crashing, and their sound makes me be relaxed. I stand up and go to the water, I guess it is very cold, clear and with little fish swimming in it. I can see a little island on the other side of the sea. It seams like nobody lives there.
Suddenly I can feel someone is staring at me, but I'm all alone. All I can see is sand, water, and a very beautiful day with a blue shining sky.

Newspaper article: " A robbery in Barcelona "

Last weekend, on Saturday 12th January, there was a robbery in a bank in Barcelona.
It was 3 o'clock in the morning when the alarm began to ring.
The police came into the bank, but it was too late because there weren't any people inside, and almost all the money had been stolen. They couldn't know who did it but suddenly the owner of the bank remembered that there was a camera outside the building.
The robbers were chased for a whole day. They were a group oh three boys. They wanted the money to buy drugs and after that sell them.

A film review

"TRES METROS SOBRE EL CIELO".
This is a romantic comedy film, filmed in Barcelona.
The main characters in the story are Babi, a teenager girl who lives in a rich world, and Hugo, a teenager boy who loves motorbikes and going at full speed to forget all what's happening around him, because he hasn't had a good life.
But when he meets Babi he becomes a great person with a big heart and he will do everything pissible to make their relationship go on.
I loved the film, and I'd recommend it to teenagers, because I think that the story is really real and you can feel like the actors in the film.
It has a tragedy in the end, and it will make you cry a lot, but I won't tell you the secret so, let's watch it!

Was it a dream?

It all started when my parents were in a concert in Barcelona. My brother and I were going in our grandfather's car, because we had to stay with him all weekend.
We were on the way from Avià to Berga, when after a few minutes of driving, another car collided with into ours. I don't remember what happened for a short time but suddenly I saw a doctor's face. I was in a hospital, with lots of doctors and my aunt.
They told me that I had one leg broken and some scars in my face. I stayed in the hospital with my brother and my grandfather for a week and then we could go home.

THE BENGALA TIGER: AN ENDANGERED ANIMAL

The tiger is an animal we can find in some places in the world, such as Asia, India, Sumatra... It can be 2,50 metres long and 1 meter tall. It is a really good hunter because of its slender hearing. It can eat monkeys, wild bears, deer... But the reason why it is endangered isn't food.
Hunters kill them, and then, they sell its fur because it is very expensive and they can earn much money.
How can we help them? Some organizations, or the government, could create some places to protect tigers, where people couldn't be. Maybe this could be a solution to help tigers.

Final reflection 2009-2010

Hello, I am Maria Boixader and I am going to talk about this year.
The activities that I've liked most this year are the activities in the blog. I've had a lot of fun doing them, specially all the videos.
Almost all the classes haven't been much funny, but like all the other subjects.
I think that my Englis has improved a lot, and this is due to all the activities for the comenius. This exchange get the students are more interested to study and learn.
We have known people from other country and culture, and I think this is very important to learn to live.
We all aren't the same.
Finally I want to say that I can't wait to make the exchange, it is only a week left!!
I know it will be fantastic.

Do you remember when you were a child?

Child... This word makes me remind a lot of things, a lot of happy memories...
People change, in every stage of the life, but I think that this stage is the best that I've lived since I was born to now.
When people are little children, the do all the things that they really want, without matter of what will say the others. And now every step that you make is judged and criticized... I hate this.
When people are little children, they are happy with only a small thing, and now we all want to be the best, to have the best things, to go to the best places... And why? Because people, all that they want is to say:
I AM THE BEST. I hate it too...
To sum up, I think that people must be as they really are, and this is wat happens in the childhood.

Opinion about my favourite song :)!

My favourite song is I will be, and the singer is Leona Lewis. She entered in fame because she was the winner of the British program The X Factor, in 2007. This song was the 3rd single of her 1st album.
I like this song because when I found it, I was in love, and the song explains all that I was feeling in that moment.
About the videoclip... I think that it isn’t connected to the lyrics. As I’ve said, the lyrics talks about a girl that she is in love, and the videoclip is about a girl and her boyfriend, and they stole a large amount of money. The girl sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend. Yes, it is love, but I would change it...
In conclusion: I love this song because it makes me remind good times about the past.

What will be my life like in 20 years?

I am a girl, not too tall, thin, dark, with long curly black hair. I am very funny, nice and I am always smiling. In twenty years I want to be the same, but older than now.
I want to live in a very big house, with my handsome husband and my three sons. My husband will be a prestigeous agent of the CSI. I will be, at least now I want it, a forensic scientist. I love investigation, I am very curious. But I know I am very young to decide my future job. Tomorrow I may want to be another thing...
Every morning I will wake up at 7 o'clock and I will go to the work. I want to have holidays in the afternoon to be with my sons and take care of them. I know I will love them a lot.
At the weekend we will go in a house that we will have in the beach. There we will relax a lot and forget all the problems and worries that we have. And then, on Monday... we must begin the routine again!
I will be very healthy, I think that health is very important. I won't smoke, I won't drink... I will be vegetarian! haha.
Thats all I've written about my life in 20 years, but I will be and do a lot of more things!

The recipie - Pa de pessic

PA DE PESSIC!

COOK TIME: 45 minutes aprox.
LEVEL: Easy
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 yogurt
- 3 eggs
- Some baking powder
- 1 crust lemon
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cap of olive oil
- 3 cups of flour
METHOD:
1. Separate the egg’s yolk of the white egg.
2. Beat the white eggs at high speed.
3. Mix the 3 yolks with a yogurt, 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of flour.
4. Mix it well until obtaining an homogenous dough and add the oil and the white egg in it. Put the baking powder and mix it again. Put in it too the crust of lemon.
5. Mix it well and let it rest 15 minutes covered it with a dishtowel.
6. Grease the mold with butter. And when you have the mold greased with butter pour the dough in it.
7. Cover it with silver paper, so that it isn’t burned. Then bake it for 30 minutes at 210º.

It was a dark and stormy night when... Somebody knocked at the door. I was in my bed, covered with my favourite blanket, afraid of the night. I didn't know if I should open the door or not, so I called my best friend and told her the situation. The stranger continued knocking at the door. "Wait, I will come at your house. Don't move immediately I come", my best friend said. "OK. I will wait".
Half an hour later, my friend had not come and I started worrying. I called her and she didn't take the phone, so I decided to go to look for her forgetting the stranger of the door.
I went out of the bed, dressed, took the phone and went out of the house. When I opened the door she was there, steped of water. Then, I started to think. Who was knocking at my door all night long? Would have I imagined it? No, I had been dreaming...

About me.

Hi! I'm Maria Boixader, I'm fourteen years old. I study in IES Guillem Berguedà, in Berga.
I have one brother, whose name is Lluís. He is 16 years old. My mother's name is Covadonga, and my father's name is Joan. Everyday except the weekend, I go to the high school. At the weekend I like going out with my friends and I like go to the cinema, go shopping... and other things.
In my freetime I usually stay in the computer talking with friends and listening to music. I love singing and dancing. Every Monday and Wednesday I go to classical dance classes.
My favourite subjects are maths and English. I love learning languages.
I think I am very happy and I am a good friend because I always try to make happy the other people and help them.
